The SEMrush keyword magic tool is becoming more and more popular. But … why is that?
If you’ve read my SEMrush review, you probably know my opinion about this tool. If not, I recommend you go ahead and check it out.
The keyword magic tool is SEMrush’s very own keyword research tool. I will tell you from the get go that it’s very good. Probably the best keyword research tool that I used.
The reason that I like it is that it’s very easy to use. Beginners usually have an easy time getting comfortable with it.(1)
In this article, we will go over what features it has, and if you should consider trying it (you should by the way. You can try it for free)
Let’s jump straight into it.
What Is SEMrush Keyword Magic Tool?
It’s a huge database with almost 3 million keywords. If you’re trying to find high buyer intent keywords that are easy to rank, you’ll find them here.
Keyword research is one of the 3 important aspects of SEO. I know everyone tries to make it so complicated, but listen out. If you are a beginner, I will tell you now the most important things about SEO that you should always remember. Ready? Here we go:
The 3 most important aspects of SEO are keyword research, content and backlinks.
That’s it. If you remember this and you do your best to find high volume and low competition keywords, write a quality piece of content (it doesn’t need to be written like Shakespeare’s poetry. Just do your best) and acquire backlinks from high authority websites, you will get A LOT of traffic.
Keyword research is the first step in this process. And SEMrush does make your life easier when trying to find good keywords.
SEMrush Keyword Tool Features
As mentioned above, SEMrush offers you everything you need from a keyword tool and more. It’s actually an all in one SEO tool, as I mentioned in another article.
There are millions of keywords in their database. Also, some key features that you can expect are:
- Keyword difficulty (a score from 0 to 100 which tells you how difficult it would be to rank for a keyword. As you probably knew, 0 is the easiest, while 100 is … impossible)
- CPC (cost per click. This is the amount of money people who run Google ads pay for that specific keyword. A high CPC means that there is a lot of buyer intent)
- Search volume (how many times a specific keyword is searched every month. It usually is higher than what SEMrush tells you)
These are the main metrics that I am looking at when doing my keyword research. The keyword magic tool is very accurate, and I was able to find many keywords using it.(4)
SEMrush is the best SEO tool on the market. And it also has the best keyword research tool.
I suggest to try it out for free first. You can get a trial and if you don’t like it, then at least export as many keywords as possible so that you can use them in your SEO efforts.
Stay consistent and don’t give up!
