So, you don’t know what’s the best GetResponse pricing option for you, right? Well my friend, then you’re in the right place.
Since I wrote my GetResponse review post, there have been quite a lot of misunderstandings regarding the pricing aspect. So I decided to write this post in order to clarify all the misconceptions.
We will go over how much is cost, what you’re getting with each plan and everything else you would want to know about the pricing aspect of GetResponse.
Let’s start by answering one of the most popular questions:

GETRESPONSE PRICING GUIDE: CAN YOU GET IT FOR FREE?
Good question! Unfortunately the answer is no …
You can however start a 30 day free trial so you can get more familiar with it. If I were you, I would go ahead and do that.
When I first started my online journey, there were very little opportunities to try something for free. That’s one of the reasons I got scammed a couple of times.(1)
Fast forward to today, I now make more than enough money not to get a job. Also, I started this blog in order to help people make the right decisions and not get scammed by gurus (like I was).
Email marketing is a great way to make money online. Let’s have a look at what you get with each of the GetResponse pricing plans.

BASIC PLAN
The cheapest plan is just fine if you’re just planning to use it solely for email marketing. Is starts at $15/month and you can send unlimited emails to up to 1.000 subscribers.
As your subscriber count grows, you will obviously need to pay more, as with any other email marketing platform.(2)
Again, if you don’t really need to build landing pages or funnels, this plan is perfect for you.

PLUS PLAN
The Plus plan (which I’m also on by the way) is the second best option in terms of price. If you pay monthly, then the price is $49/month. This is in case you have less than 1.000 subscribers (like in the basic plan)
It includes everything in the basic plan (more on that later), as well as some extra features like webinars or sales funnels.(3)
If you want to create sales funnels with GetResponse, then this plan will be fine for you.
PROFESSIONAL PLAN
This one starts at $99/month for up to 1.000 subscribers.
As you can imagine, it includes everything from the Basic and Plus plans, as well as some extra features.
In my opinion, the most appealing extra feature is the automation builder.(4)

ENTERPRISE PLAN
OK. I would recommend this plan only to those who own a huge company with a huge list and really need the extra features like an account manager or private consulting.(5)
Otherwise there is no point to pay such a big amount of money every month. This plan starts at $1.199/month.
This is the price for up to 100.000 subscribers. Really, if you have that many subscribers, then the price will seem like a bargain to you.
KEY DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE PLANS
All the plans have a couple of features in common. Those are the ones that you expect from any email marketing software.(6)

These are just some of the basic features included in all of GetResponse’s plans. Now let’s have a loot at what the differences between the plans are:
The Professional and Enterprise plans include the automation builder, arguably the best GetResponse feature. This allows you to build very complex automations based on how your subscribers behave. Very cool. The Plus plan allows you to have 5 automations as well.
The Plus, Professional and Enterprise plans include the the webinar functionality feature. Very good if you’re into webinars. Keep in mind that if you have more than 100 people you want to host a webinar to, the Plus plan will not be enough.
The Plus plan and higher include the eCommerce tools. These are great for people selling physical stuff online.

There are a couple of more features, but I feel these are the most important ones. My reccommendation is that if you want to create sales funnels or landing pages, you will be better off using Kartra.
It’s a more complete marketing tool if you ask me.
GetResponse is however great for email marketing.
IS THERE A GETRESPONSE DISCOUNT?
Yes, there is. If you were to decide to pay yearly (I do this by the way), there is quite a significant discount.
You can get a discount of 18%-30% depending on the plan.
Honestly, this is my recommendation for you, as i’m doing the same thing. If you are serious about email marketing (which you should be if you are planning to start an online business) why would you want to pay more?
The yearly plan is great. You don’t need to think about subscriptions every month.(7)
CONCLUSION
GetResponse is a great marketing tool which allows you to increase your conversions in the long run. If you’re just starting out, the Basic plan will be just fine.
After that, you can upgrade to the Plus or Professional plans as your business starts to grow.
The automation feature is great, as it allows you to make complex campaigns (if you’re not a nerd like me, you probably won’t get as excited).
If I were you, I would go ahead and try it out. You will thank me later.
